So there I was, frozen in fear, my stare locked on his unwavering expression. His eyes narrowed as if to tell me that he was completely serious, and that if I moved an inch closer, he wouldn't hesitate to say it. RETURN. That one word had always meant good things to me. Every time I thought of it, I would picture myself scampering home to my loving mother's warm embrace. I had never imagined that I could fear that word so much! Although, I guess, that was before I was thrown into this nightmare.

I couldn't breathe, I couldn't move, I couldn't speak, the only thing I could think about was Oak's face right before the wall had closed on me! A single tiny leaf hid from the burning yellow sun, its healthy green tint shaded by the hundreds of menacing full-grown leaves. Suddenly the petite leaf rustled violently, although, it didn't disturb any of the others. A chubby green creature appeared, struggled around the leaflet, it wiggled as it crept. The insect sported two pink antennae on the end of its face, just above a stout nose. It stared ahead with two huge, sparkling black eyes. On its side were multiple yellow circles, each decorating a section of the bug.
